To configure the SNTP settings through the phone’s user interface:

It helps to prevent the other party from listening to the informal discussion when auto answer is enabled on our phone.
Call mute applies to all modes (handset, headset and speakerphone).
How does the Mute Option work on Yealink T29G?
Normally, the mute function is disabled when the active call ends. The Keep Silent feature allows you to make your phone’s mute state persist between calls. When keep mute is enabled and we press the MUTE key, the phone remains in the mute state until we deactivate the microphone or until the phone is rebooted.

We can create a conference with two other people using the phone’s local conference. We can create a conference between an active call and a call on hold (on the same line or on another line). The SIP-T29G IP phone supports up to 3 participants (including ourselves) in a conference call.
Note: To set up a local conference call (from the handset), we must ensure that the local conference feature is enabled.
How to Set up a Local Conference Call on Yealink T29G?

The capture group must be predefined; we must contact the system administrator for more information. .
We can capture an incoming call using the programmable answer DPickup/GPickup . To use call capture, we must configure the call capture code beforehand globally or per line via the web user interface.
Note: If there are many incoming calls at the same time, pressing the GPickup softkey, will capture on the phone the call that rang first.
How to Capture a Yealink T29G Call?
To capture a call in Yealink, previously our administrator has had to configure it in the web interface.
We perform the capture of a call as follows:

We can send and receive text messages using the SIP-T29G IP phone. New text messages can be indicated both acoustically and visually. When a new text message is received, the phone will play a warning tone. The power indicator LED will slowly flash red and the LCD display will show “n new text messages” (“n” indicates the number of unread text messages, e.g. 1 new text message) and an icon.
Note: when the phone receives a text message, the text message window will appear by default on the LCD screen.
You can store text messages in the Inbox, Sent, Outbox of your phone or Draftbox. Each of the sections can store up to 100 text messages. If the number of text messages is more than 100, the phone will directly delete the oldest text message.

We can leave voice messages for another person using the SIP-T29G IP phone. We can also listen to voice mails stored in a voice mailbox. This feature is configured on the server side. It is not available on all servers.
On receiving a new voice mail, the phone will play a warning tone. The power indicator LED will slowly flash red and the LCD display will show “n New voicemail messages” (“n” indicates the number of unheard messages.
If the voicemail pop-up message box disappears, it will not reappear unless the user receives a new voicemail or the user re-registers the account that has unread voicemails.
How to Leave a Yealink T29G Voice Message?
We can leave a voice message for another person when they are busy or inconvenient to answer the call. We must follow the voice prompt from the system server to leave a voicemail and then hang up.
How to Listen to Yealink T29G Voicemail?
- When the LCD screen tells you that the phone receives a new voicemail and the power indicator LED slowly flashes red, we can press
or the Connect key to dial the voicemail access code.
- We must follow the voice prompt to listen to voicemail messages.
Note: Before listening to voicemails, we must ensure that the voicemail access code has been set.
When all new voice mails are retrieved, the power indicator LED will turn off.
How to View Yealink T29G Voicemail?
1. Press Menu->Message->Voicemail->See Voice Mail.
The LCD display will show the number of new and old voice messages.
2. Select an account and then press the Connect key to listen to voicemails.
