Artificial Intelligence Robots ✅ To what extent can we benefit from AI 🤖 as a resource for our businesses today? In today’s article, we give you all the information you need. 🤓 Read on!
Since ancient times, people have read, talked about and/or watched movies that dealt with Artificial Intelligence in robots. In them, robots could talk and move around, imitating humans.
The first to write about it was Ramon Llull in his work Ars Magna of 1315. Although, it was in the 1950s when science began to work on this subject. According to Wikipedia: «Artificial Intelligence (IA), is intelligence carried out by machines.»
To date, much research has been done, and the advances have been numerous and notorious. So much so that it has been incorporated into such everyday items as cell phones, televisions or any other household appliance.
Since very remote times, people have read, talked and/or watched movies that dealt with Artificial Intelligence in robots. In them, robots could talk and move in imitation of humans.

Who created the first humanoid robot?
In 2016, Hong Kong-based Hanson Robotics created Sophia, a humanoid robot capable of learning and adapting to human behavior and working with them. Its physical appearance is identical to that of a woman, specifically that of actress Audrey Hepburn.
This robot is designed to process visual data and perform facial recognition. In addition, it is capable of mimicking and interpreting human gestures and facial expressions such as winking, frowning, anger, …
She has already been interviewed by many presenters from all over the world and has been able to answer questions while maintaining a conversation as if she were a human, although her robotic voice is noticeable. One of the interviews was conducted by Tatiana Bensa, a host of Los Informantes.
Sophia is being trained to answer all kinds of questions, thanks to her learning capacity with which she was designed. She is also capable of thinking on her own. On the other hand, she has voice recognition technology and software that allows her to analyze conversations and extract data from them that allows her to improve her future answers.
According to Hanson, «Sophia was designed to be a suitable companion for seniors in Senior Residence, or to assist crowds in parks or at large events.»
In October 2017, she was recognized as a citizen of Saudi Arabia and was granted Saudi citizenship by the Future Investment Summit in Riyadh (capital of Saudi Arabia). They made it the first humanoid robot with citizenship.
This has created a lot of debate among experts, who questioned whether this would allow her to vote or marry. And also, whether an intentional disconnection from the system could be considered murder.
What are the benefits of robots to the economy?
«Artificial Intelligence will bring more than $15 Trillion in benefits to the global economy in the next 11 years.»
Los Informantes, from TV Caracol.
In addition, it is expected that, by 2030, robots like Sophia will be able to interact with other humans and coexist with them.
